Card No 35 – Penny H, Queensland, Australia

This card was a direct swap with Penny and was my first card from Australia.  Penny is undertaking a remarkable challenge with her siblings which includes trying to get cards from every major country and within some of those countries, the major areas.  So in England she is trying to get one from each local government area!

In the bottom left of the Canberra card is the National War Memorial and Museum.

Isn’t this Koala stamp sweet.  It’s one of a 2012 series called bushbabies.

This card arrived on  16th April, travelled 10,260  miles and took 7 days.  This is now sixteen countries from which I have received postcards since starting this hobby.

Total so far – 134,235 miles; 16 countries (including 5 US States).

Total Mileage – Postcrossing cards only – 39,919 miles
