Card no. 13 – Danielle – Nebraska, USA

It was Danielle who introduced me to Postcrossing – for which I am very grateful!  It’s excellent fun. Her book blog can be found at   http://danitorres.typepad.com/workinprogress/

This is my second US State card.  Only 48 to go.  I shall update this map as I go along, marking the states of which I have got maps in red.

The stamps are of George Washington and a Peregrine Falcon.

The card travelled 4121 miles and took 18 days.

Total so far – 33,455  miles; 10 countries (including 3 US States).

I’m not much further along than you are–though I’ve added a few more state cards to my pile! 🙂 If I can get to a shop in Iowa I can send one from there, but I never seem to go across the river very often. Will get there one of these days. I love seeing your cards by the way–it’s interesting to see the distances traveled and how much traveling time it takes!
